Carlo A. Orlando, MDDr. Orlando offers a special expertise in joint reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma and disease. He also works regularly with sports-related injuries and serves as a team physician at several local high schools and colleges throughout Southern California.
As a dedicated researcher, Dr. Orlando has co-authored several published articles in orthopedics and biomechanical literature. He is often seen on the global lecture circuit presenting his clinical findings at various medical conventions and conferences. Dr. Orlando is highly regarded for his extensive research papers and contributions to the medical community.
After receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine, he served his internship and residency at the USC Department of Orthopedics. His early medical studies began at the New York Medical College.
Dr. Orlando continues to work with USC where he is an assistant clinical professor at the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. He teaches joint replacement surgery to medical students and resident physicians.
Dr. Orlando has been actively involved with sports-related and injury prevention equipment since childhood. As a New York native, he grew-up with an affinity for exercise and was directly involved with Nautilus® strength training and other professional athletic equipment programs
